The Stones concert on Halifax Common sticks out in everybody's mind as concert of the year for 2006, and rightly so, but a lot of folks (including me, after a few pops) say that the real winner might have been Wilco at Alderney Landing.

Just an incredible summer night on the Dartmouth Waterfront...sea air, the ferries coming and going in the background, and Wilco at the top of their game. My friend Terry sent me a great clip of Wilco front guy Jeff Tweedy politely (mostly) telling people to shut the frig up during a show.
